This is a perfect, simple motel room. It's clean, comfortable and affordable. Above all else, the owner is very nice and very responsive! Great, easy stop when traveling through 395 or stopping at Mt. Whitney.
The owner greeted us and was a really nice lady. The family room was exactly as described with 3 comfortable beds. It also had a small fridge and dining table. There is a small bench outside the door to enjoy the weather and air. This is a great central option to Lone Pine and Bishop.
In booking this room I didn't expect much but was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my car that they helped me figure out. The grounds, though small, are clearly well cared for. I highly recommend.
Very friendly owner. Clean, quiet room with all the amenities we needed. Loved that it was a throwback motel to where you can park just a few feet away from your room.
Greeted warmly by the proprietor. The motel is a set piece for a quieter time. Rooms are small, but very well kempt. I'm a frequent traveler along 395, this place is going to be my go-to property when I'm traveling along the Owens Valley

We needed a Pet Friendly Motel on the way to Indio for a good price and this Motel had good reviews from other guests. Most people were leaving Excellent reviews for the Owner/Property Manager and cleanliness and those areas did not disappoint. The woman who checked us in was friendly and gave us cold water and snacks, and was kind to our dog. The room was clean, but on the end next to the Highway. Perhaps people traveling with dogs get Room 15, where the carpet has stains and the chairs were a little uncomfortable.
My main complaint is that whenever the people next door ran their water there was a high pitched squeal that lasted for about 5 min. In the middle of the night its like a smoke alarm going off. And there’s an abandoned building directly in front of the Motel, which no one mentions.
If you choose to stay here, don’t go to Room 15, and know that the Valero Station a block away has decent coffee.

The hotel is cute and the beds very comfortable, but what really stood out was the graciousness and kindness of the owners.
Parking was excellent right in front of our room. Staff was excellent very friendly and informative. She even came to her room to make sure everything was fine before we checked in and showed us around where everything was at in town
We were greeted like family upon arrival which is special after a long driving day. Geeta shared the brief story of how they turned this vintage motel into an extremely comfortable and updated room. Highly recommend this motel.
The most caring place I have ever stayed. They called us to check on our arrival and to let us know where to stop for dinner and breakfast the following morning. They went through the rooms and details, made sure that we didn’t have a pet this trip and gave us snacks. It was like staying with a caring family member! Simple, low key, affordable and caring!
