What a BEAUTIFUL step back into a time of Grandeur!! The hotel is classic, stylish and impeccably maintained. The staff are SUPERB and remarkably accommodating. Our room was extremely comfortable with a beautiful Mountain View. We did not have a/c, but we did NOT need it. We visited in July and were extremely happy to leave the windows open for a beautiful fresh night-time breeze. The location is super convenient-everything is within very comfortable walking distance (train station, restaurants, sight-seeing, etc.). We would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel!!

This hotel is very close to Interlaken Ost train station and Harder Bahn. It also overlooks the river. However, the hotel looks fancy online but in reality it’s a bit dated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. But the restaurant for dinner wasn’t very tasty, despite good service. The shower was over a bath, vs walk-in, which we didn’t realize so check before you book. The room had a balcony which was delightful and offered fantastic views.

Positives: Absolutely Great Staff - friendly, helpful & professional Great central, walkable location with restaurants, shopping and canal nearby 150 year old charming building with large rooms. A little dated but easily overlooked by everything else.
