"We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because...

It's quite centrally located in the middle of the village, which in Agujitas de Drake still means that you're mostly surrounded by rainforest. The owner and his wife are kind people and the breakfast included in the price is great. There's also a guest kitchen to be used, as well as an area for washing clothes. "Beautiful setting. Pond with foliage all around. A bit secluded though. Rooms were amazing. Open spaces in room & large shower area. You can definitely hear the jungle. It felt like glamping in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious & homemade. At your convenience as well. Wish there was meat though. Hosts were lovely & friendly. Very accommodating. The price equals what you receive. It was a bit costly though if you are on a budget. Lots of positives including amenities!"

"We absolutely loved our time at Casa Horizonte. The view is gorgeous and the hosts could not have been nicer. We had 2 families traveling together with 8 children and they were so helpful. The house is a little bit of a walk up a hill but totally worth it for the views. Don Pedro drove all of our bags up for us. We hired Martin to cook us delicious dinners 2 of the nights so we didn’t have to take all the kids out to restaurants. It was a perfect stay."
