You'll be havin' some fun at "Under the Boardwalk", our cheery first floor condo across the street from the beach (access #28) in Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island. Enjoy beach living in this beautiful space that is all your own! Centrally located nearby to all the activities Amelia Island has to offer. Great restaurants, family fun or take a relaxing beach vacation. We are a stones throw from the beach and close to golf courses, state parks, Jacksonville Zoo and much more!

*Please note that all bookings include a 3 day starter package of soaps, shampoos, paper towels and toilet paper. Guests may need to re-stock these items if booked for longer than 3 days.

Under The Boardwalk
The location is near the beach. We could load our cart and be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. It has 2 convenient spots to wash off sand before heading back into the place. The place felt bigger than it looked in the pictures. There is also a spot out back and in front to sit and read if the weather is good. Once we got on the island we didn't leave it until time to head home. We went sailing, we hit the beach, we went sight seeing, we ate tons, we did puzzles, and we just enjoyed being with family!

The condo was clean, very well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels, and a nice updated bath. A very prompt reply from the host was always received using VRBO messenger. Very easy beach access & convenient to downtown Fernandina. I would definitely book another stay.

We were very pleased with Under the Boardwalk. Hosts were quick to answer questions. Size was perfect for the three of us. Kitchen was equipped with all we could need. The unit is between two beach accesses. It was a quick walk to the beach. Outside furniture was comfortable.

Great beach cottage
Very clean with great AC and comfortable beds and more towels than you would ever need. We did not need it for our short stay but a washer and dryer is always a plus. Kitchen was compact, but had everything the family would need to stay there! A short five minute walk to the beautiful beach. And restaurants and stores all seem to be 6 to 8 minutes away in Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach.

The apartment was nice. The A/C did not work for the first two days. Called owner who said it was working for the last guest. Said I was probably not working thermostat correct. I did everything I could to fix the problem. Owner finally came over on Wednesday to look to see what was going on. He finally called the repairman who came and fixed the unit. The thermostat had nothing to do with the problem. We did have cool air for one night. I paid for an apartment with A/C. I feel that I need to be compensated some how for having to sleep in an apartment where it was 80 degrees.

Took a holiday weekend trip to beach. Very clean great location. Just minutes to all shops and grocery store. Enjoyed Christmas parade in town. Just steps to beach. Great deck, had breakfast outside on deck.

Best lil Stay in Town
If it helps... we WILL be back. And I have passed this little Gem to others already. Clean, you have that at Home feel. Perfect location. Across street from beach. 2 beach accesses just 2 minutes by walking. No complaints. Fury kid friendly and a nice kitchen with everything you need, if you choose to cook. Just a GREAT place.

Accommodating hosts - easy to reach and work with. Across the road and a few houses down from Beach Access in both directions. Great for walking every day. Not crowded. Restaurants close by. Live music most days. Lots to do without driving far. Fernandina Beach is a great historic little city.

This is one terrific beach rental!
Great experience at this big 2-bedroom full apartment! Nice living room and full kitchen. One other review stated that Internet was slow, but from my perspective this was an obvious car of just needing a hard reboot of the router. So when Internet slowed down after 3 days, I pinged Darin and he had it rebooted almost immediately - simple Simon! Love being able to walk to the beach so fast - we would come back for lunch and bathroom with ease. Nice section of the beach that is not very crowded. All in all a very relaxing Thanksgiving week for me and my family. Bravo!
