Friendliest staff and so, so clean. Walking distance to restaurants and of course the beach 😍 Opened the sliding doors in my room, and there was the pool. Very comfy bed, I slept like a baby. This was only a one night pit stop for me and I was tempted to stay another night.

Having chosen the lesser priced room with a limited view ended up being a 2nd story view of the restaurant roof and exhaust fans but the front desk was helpful to relocate me to a center room with a view as the hotel was not busy. The pool area is ok but some pool gates locked while the security lock was missing from the beach access gate. All in all reminiscent of a motel from time gone by but is in a good beachfront location and room was clean. New parking policy of $20 a day was not mentioned in the details.

Unfortunately, this place was a real let down. My room smelled STRONGLY of mold/mildew, and when I alerted the staff, was told that all the rooms smelled that way and there wasn't anything they could do. I ended up having to leave a night early just to get away from it. All of the clothes I brought with me smelled that way by the end of my 3-day stay. The staff was kind, wonderful, and helpful. Despite the great staff, I would not stay here again.

The room wasn't ready upon arrival, in fact it wasn't ready for about 1.5 hours past arrival time. However they did comp the parking for the week and gave us a pool key while we waited. Parking was limited, but worked if you got in early enough. Housekeeper was a gem. Quaint and run down but cute and had that family vacation in the 60's vibe. Great beach access, quite, and fantastic access to the local shops and restaurants. Just don't expect really clean. But no bugs, so overall a win. I would return. The massive access to the local shops on foot was the true superstar.
