“Our family absolutely loved our stay! The only negative was that we couldn't enjoy the home longer. So well done and plenty of room! The backyard was so beautiful and a private screened in porch was a lovely touch. “We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. Never did get a chance to check out the hot tub or spend much time in the game room or around a fire but that was fine. Would certainly……

“The house was clean and spacious. Having a dishwasher, washer and dryer were so convenient in the house. The small fenced in yard was plenty for my little dogs. It was only about 15 -20 minute drive to the beach. The best was the free parking at the beach. Loved the month I was there. The host was amazing and available for anything I needed or answered any questions I had. ”

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“The place was just beautiful. Nice size rooms, interior decor was really nice & clean. The hot tub was really nice & clean & great great to lounge in .My family & I would love to stay here again in the future. My dog also loved running around in the large fenced in yard. We love that house was only 15 mins from the beach. Our main reason for staying at this place was it was close enough to spend time with my grandson who is stationed near by in the Airforce. “We had a wonderful stay at the Jacksonville Ranch. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was clean and well-maintained. We visited the area to see our Marine and appreciated having such a peaceful place to gather as a family. The private hot tub, pool, and pool table provided plenty of fun and relaxation for all of us. The privacy of the property made it feel like a true retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect.”
