“Blue Palm retreat was the perfect home for visit to Jacksonville. The home was nicely decorated , light and airy along with being pristine clean ! Our family enjoyed the location in the quiet neighborhood for daily walks with our dog . The personal touches from the owner was a welcoming touch . Communication was top notch ! We never had any issues , but the communication prior to our stay was outstanding!”

“Great location to restaurants, attractions, grocery stores, etc. We had 3 kids under the age of 8 and the walk was easy with them to get to the beach access. Check in information wasn't sent until 4:30 pm on the day we arrived which had me stressed, but we got in and all was well. The house matched the pictures online. We used the kitchen a decent amount and it had plenty of what we needed. The movie theater was great for family movie night. Close to Adventure Landing and it's fun for the kids....

“We had a wonderful three night stay. The unit was exactly as described and was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the huge tv in the living room. Three unexpected bonuses: 1) the short walk on the beach to the Ritz Carlton where we went for lunch and drinks 2) The unit was two stories which really gave us a lot of extra room. The bedrooms were on the second floor on opposite ends of the floor for extra privacy. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. 3) All the turtles we saw on the...

“This was a very nice, well-stocked and clean property. Centrally located and close to the beach. The only issue we had was noisy neighbors who partied past 2 a.m. outside several nights, waking up our dog and then the baby. Not much the host can do about this. Thank you for providing such a nice place.”

“I booked this house because my teen daughter and her best friend signed up for a local surf camp. They had an amazing time at the beach for the week and this house could not have been any more convenient. It smelled so clean as we walked in, it was close to the beach bars and lots of restaurants. We will be booking this home anytime we go back to JAX.”

“It was a mid-range VRBO. Nothing that wowed us, but it served its purpose of having a decent place to lay our heads at night. The inside was clean except for the many cobwebs on the ceilings. Pros-Having morning coffee on the front porch was a plus; 2 chairs & small table. Shower was spacious. It was nice to have a washer & dryer. The check-in/check-out process was easy & not too much was required at departure. Cons-The yard really needed a mowing. The house across the street is in disrepair...

“This property is nicely located, about halfway to either end of Fernandina Beach. Parking was a little tight like the decorated so we took a smaller SUV. We did have to wanted outlet code twice each time we went in and out. There were no sheets for the pullout bed and no DVD player or movies. We did not spend a lot of time there so it wasn’t a game changer. We spent a lot of time at the beach and the pool. Our boys loved both. It took less than 5 minutes to get to the beach for the fireworks,...

“This is our second time staying here and we’ll definitely be back! It’s such a great location. Even on a holiday weekend, the place felt quiet and the beach was not crowded. It was a hot weekend, so the under deck area was a great retreat from the for the kids to play. And the upper deck is great for evenings in the summer. It was so nice to see the beach and sunrise from the deck. Great stay!”

“My family stayed at this VRBO for my son’s destination wedding at the Omni. We had plenty of room to spread out. The big kitchen was a wonderful place to gather and hang out. I would stay there again. i had two family members with physical disabilities so having 3 bedrooms on the first floor was key and hard to find in this area. Areas to improve, ant problem in the master bath with ant traps, the charcoal grill never heated up past 200 deg. I would expect a gas or electric grill for a house...

“Saw lots of turtles, which was neat! Glad we had ability to rent chairs/umbrella for the beach. Appreciated the beach chairs provided by the property, loved they had lots of blankets and pillows. Living room was decent sized and could fit our family of 4 (2 grown late teen boys). Kitchen was decently stocked. Washing machine is small, but fine for washing towels bathing suits as you throughout the week. Pleasant stay! Thank you!”
