I think the dinner menu needs to be expanded, not enough variety.

Our getaway to Fernandina Beach and stay at Hoyt House was excellent. Our hosts David,Lindy and Katie were so helpful, as was all the staff. (Shout out to Sydney and Amanda.) Our hosts helped arrange tours for us and were helpful with recommendations on food, entertainment and tours. The morning breakfasts were top of the line. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. And the pool was a god send for relaxing. Happy hour at the bar was a great way to meet other guests, or just enjoy a glass of wine or drink. Definitely recommend Hoyt House and will return again.

We had a great stay after one unfortunate first night. On the first night we could not get hot water for a shower. Upon calling the front desk we were informed we had to keep the shower handle at “4-5 o’clock” position? The desk staff came to our room and eventually got warm weather. During the evening, I went to use the bathroom sink. I was then unable to turn the water off and manually turned it off under the sink. We asked for another room and were told it would be an additional $1,167. We said no thank you. We then had some electrical issues and complained again and were transferred to another room on the other side of the hotel. That room was perfect and we had no further issues and a pleasant stay. Request a room on the north side of the hotel.
