"There was a huge rain storm as we were approaching our rental, which flooded the road that was necessary to enter the area. Our hosts were on the phone with us, helping us to get a hotel in the area that accommodated pets. They graciously deducted one night from our rental fee as well.The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and included many special touches such as a dog toy for our pup, a basket of snacks, and a lavender sachet and slippers on the bed. The view of the bay was beautiful!It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay!"

"This home was exactly how described. The two beds made it really nice for my two children. There was also enough room for our dog crate! You can't beat this for the price. The beach is a short walk away. It is located in a cute little neighborhood. We loved walked our dog through the neighborhood. There were two pools, a fitness room, and some courts. There was a kayak included and we rented a few more from the local Ocean Rentals. We walked the kayaks right down the street in the neighborhood and launched them from right there! It was so cool to see the area from the bay side! The only thing we forgot were hand towels and washcloths so remember those and towels. The owner, Gerardo was super nice. We noticed a leak that wasn't urgent, and he was there in ten minutes. We saw him a few more times throughout the stay, and he was always making sure everything was going well and that we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely rent from him again! "

"We enjoyed our stay at The Sleepover. We were pleased to see the outside of the home was updated since the photos in the listing. I looks like the owners are working on updating the home. Washer and dryer were new other areas of the home looked to be somewhat recently updated. The sliding door to the back deck needs replacing ASAP it is very difficult to open and close. I don’t think the floors were vacuumed/swept before we arrived as there looked to be dirt along the edges and on the carpeted steps to the downstairs bedroom. It would be nice if the AC had vents in the downstairs bedroom as it got warm. The provided floor fan needed a cleaning. Maybe a ceiling fan would be good in the least. Pool looked very nice, we unfortunately didn’t have the greatest of weather so we were bummed not to be able to fully enjoy it. I did notice the AC return up in the loft was very dirty. Kids did enjoy the “coolness” of the loft.I would also suggest the outdoor shower to have a removable wand/shower head for ease of washing sand off the dog and kiddos. A rug inside the front door would be helpful in minimizing dirt tracked in on laminate floor. Lastly the trees/bushes along the path to the gate to walk to the beach were overgrown and need trimmed back. Thank you!"
