Great food and views from dining room Nice trails and numerous other activities make this a destination resort We planned to stay one night and decided to stay another night just enjoy the property. An unexpected bonus was the star gazing. Absolutely dark sky lit up with stars!"

"A wonder surprise to return to a place that has grown into a fabulous stay experience! The Lion Suites are an incredible stay Visited here 10 years ago and did not realize where I was staying! Last minute reservation passing through, fabulous managers and staff and lions roaring to wake you! Great food, definitely bring your kids and take time for tours. "Very warm welcome and nice huts In a really wild part of South Africa. Excellent and generously portioned food. Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. "

"During our two weeks vacation in South Africa this was by far the best location being on the countryside in the middle of nature. Excellent check-in Service, our house was perfectly equipped and had a fantastic porch. The view from the bed into the sunrise - unbeatable. Easy to find because of signs placed at the right spot as well as the information provided in advance. And if you like to have a 5 star dinner you just take a 7 minutes drive to the Kurland Hotel - reservation...

"Nice facility, although it may s quite old, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There is a wood stove which they provided wood for and it warmed the place up quite nicely. The kitchen could be better stocked if you were to stay there for a few days but it has the basics. I would stay again if in the area."
