Fantastic condo

One of the best Condos we have ever stayed in Hawaii, well appointed, organized and clean, fantastic view. Kona Isle itself has very nice pool area, sand and BBQ areas, this condo will not disappoint.

Great condo and location

Kona Isle was a great location convenient to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to other parts of the island. The ocean view and sound was fantastic to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunset. We saw the green flash on our last day! We would stay here again!

Home away from home

This was a beautiful, clean and very comfortable unit. The air conditioning was a nice touch and very quiet. We hope to stay here again.

The view from the lanai is awesome. The grounds are well kept. The pool is worth spending some time there. The grills are right on the ocean. A perfect spot to be to watch the sun set each night. We are already planning our next trip.

Clean, updated, A/C in both living room and bedroom worked well, had many kitchen and beach items, and the view from the lanai was wonderful. Property was also very well maintained. The caretaker was out every morning working on the property. Would totally stay here again!Knutson & Associates also a 5/5. Patiently answered my calls before renting, great at communicating about rental before arriving, checked in several times to ensure all was good while at unit, and promptly and professionally handled a couple issues. The bathroom towels and wash rags were very nice. It was great that they provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and other stuff. The lanai has a very nice view of the ocean. The condo has ceiling fans in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The condo was very clean! We would stay here again.

It is situated on the corner with great views of ocean making it better than the other ones in either building B or C because you dont have to directly look across at the other units. The condo might have the best kitchen amenities of any condo we have stayed at in Kona. Well thought out for the vacationer with all the beach amenities you would need!

Wonderful Setting

We enjoyed the pool, the BBQs, and the oceanside chairs with umbrellas! It was great to go down to the ocean and watch the sunset with other visitors. Our living space was perfect. It was very clean and well furnished with pretty Hawaiian decor throughout. We loved this place and know that we WILL return!

Hawaiian Anniversary Vacation

We had the most wonderful vacation and our stay in Kona Isle C38 was fabulous. We loved having our coffee and wine on the lanai every morning and evening. The view is spectacular! Right now I’m watching an 8 man canoe paddle by as the full moon is setting. Wow! The condo looked like it was freshly updated and true to the pictures. It was sparkly clean and the washer/dryer was handy. The bed was a little uncomfortable and we kept rolling to the middle, lol, but other than that we loved everything about the condo, the pool, the beach and the grounds. We will definitely stay here again. Aloha!🌺

AMAZING STAY

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was amazing. I had a few questions why we were staying there and I emailed them and they got back to me super quick. They were super good at communicating with us as well. It was way clean inside and lots of kitchen things to use so you can make cheaper meals at home. I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the things we enjoyed about it was how close we were to the ocean. We also enjoyed how close it was to downtown Kona. Really easy to get places from this VRBO. I will say though my favorite thing was the view, it was so amazing.

Great view with excellent access to town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this property. Very clean and well kept. A couple of considerations however for those with mobility issues, this is a third floor unit with no elevator access. I have a bad knee and by the end of the trip my knee was shot from all the walking and sightseeing, so the stairs were a bit of a pain point for me. Also, the unit is beautiful and we really enjoyed the view from the lanai, but the windows for the bedroom are louvered windows and do let quite a bit of sound in from outside, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend running white noise on your phone or running the fan on a higher setting. The beach chairs in the closet, and the cooler that was available made our stay a lot easier to plan without having to worry about renting or purchasing things we would need to leave behind. Also want to add that Knutson and Associates was fantastic to work with, and provided such clear instructions for making our stay as worry free as possible. They also provided ample communication to ensure our needs were met.

exceptional condo

this condo was exceptional for a couple.of reasons. 1) the picture portraying the view from the condo was accurate. 2) i dont really evaluate decor but again this condo was exceptional. i started looking at many of the items on the walls and decided they werent tacky but very interesting. even some table placemats were super cool. they were very hawaiian and has a wood center and a woven exterior. my goal is to figure out where i can purchase some. 3) this condo was well stocked. they even had beach chairs and a cooler in a closet. plus i found a guidebook for hawaii this morning. i wish i had seen this sooner.

Spectacular Hawaiian Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved staying at Kona Isla C38! I looked for several weeks for a beautiful rental and am so glad I chose this rental. Knutson staff were extremely professional, prompt, and helpful with all my questions. The rental was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed. We only needed to bring our pick of groceries! The additional mini fridge on the balcony was great for keeping our drinks cold while we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the water and sunsets from our balcony lanai. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy with a classy and comfy design throughout. The shower also had nice pressure and lots of hot water.The air-conditioning worked well as did the fans. It took me 30 years to return to Hawaii and this place was a perfect location to spend a very relaxing month. The grounds were well kept up with a very nice pool area in addition to a sandy area under palm trees right next to the water where I could sit in a chair and watch the sunset. The outside grill area was clean and easy to use with tables to eat at as well. The manager on site was very pleasant and helpful. Having a designated parking spot was also a plus because we could come and go without worry about finding parking when we returned. My whole family loved staying here!

Very clean, close to the ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean, and decorated nicely. The kitchen was beautiful, and had pots and pans and all the dishes we needed. Having a washer/dryer in unit was an absolute life saver with how much swimming we did. The AC worked great and we loved that we could keep the bedroom at a different temperature than the rest of the living space since the kids like it warmer than we do. The lanai was cute, and so close to the ocean (feels closer than it looks in the pictures). Nice little private beach area with some chairs, great spot to watch the sunset. The only thing we didn’t love was that the bedroom and bathroom door were both slatted instead of solid so there was absolutely no noise privacy. You could hear every sounds from all areas of the condo. Wouldn’t likely be an issue for a couple, but for a family of four, it was not ideal, and something I wish I’d known before booking. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Isle C38 is everything you want in a short term island rental. Really, the pictures and description do not give this place its due. Yes, most agents say the same things about all of their properties, but this spot hits the spot. The unit is well appointed and tastefully decorated. One very nice feature is dual air conditioners for the living area and bedroom that actually work! The patio provides a nice view of the ocean and pool area. It was a great place to hang out and eat breakfast or read a book. The unit is close enough to the ocean to hear even the small waves and very peaceful at night, so much so that if you leave your window open the waves lull you to sleep and there really isn't much additional noise.The property is extremely well kept with the pool, pool furniture and beach furniture cleaned every morning. The resident manager is very friendly. If we return to Kona, this unit will be the place we will stay again.

A small slice of paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Isle is a nice and quiet complex on Ali'i Drive about a mile from downtown Kailua-Kona. The condo was as described and was clean throughout upon our arrival. It's tastefully decorated, lanai has a fridge, and an efficient AC is a big plus (for the summer.) Kitchen had all cooking items needed that were in great shape (no peeling nonstick pans here) and all the plates, utensils, silverware, glasses and cups galore. The private oceanfront bbq area was great for cooking and picnics, especially while watching the beautiful Big Island sunsets. The condo property was clean and well maintained. I always saw the resident manager up and about very early in the morning taking care of things around the complex. Be aware that quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. There are also full time residents that live at the complex as well and they value that quiet. Besides, you get to listen to the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline rocks below. We felt the condo size was perfect for two adults though it's listed for four. Knutson and Associates is an excellent company to work with on the rental. They are timely in their correspondence (via email and text.) We would use them again in the future.
