just lovely except for vrbo never had our stay on record after we had paid. very hard to deal with them. I liked the owners and everything went well after we ditched vrbo.

Very comfortable room in a very nice neighborhood

We very much appreciated the abundant snacks in the room when we arrived as well as the beach and snorkel equipment available for us to use. The check-in process was very easy. We enjoyed our stay!

This rental property is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is inside a gated community, providing a sense of safety. It has its own separate door but is attached to the host's main living quarter, providing both privacy and easy access to the host if necessary. The host family are friendly. We could reach them via text messages and they responded fast. Parking is off-street and conveniently located in front of the rental property. Inside the property, the host provided everything we needed for our vacation, ranging from all sorts of beach gears to kitchen essentials (a fridge, a microwave, a small oven, and various utensils). Overall, we had a great experience with this rental property and would highly recommend it to others.

The perfect spot!

My wife and I had an excellent stay at this property. The bed was very comfortable, it had everything we needed, and the provided beach gear was super useful. The hosts went above and beyond and had snacks there when we arrived. Would love to stay again!

Amazing…..

Truly a hidden gem of a vacation rental. The owner was awesome because they always accommodated us on every level. Less than two miles from downtown Kona and very easy to navigate in and out of. We WILL use this property when we book our next Kona trip.

Great location for the west part of the Big Island.

Really enjoyed this rental in a gated community near Kailua. Lots of amenities and great communication with our host. Everything we wanted to do on this side of the island was within 30 minutes.

Great house in quiet neighborhood

Excellent attention to details, snacks available at our arrival. Easy checking in process. The property is like a small botanical garden it was really special! The location is great at a small driving distance to many restaurants.

Everything worked smoothly; communication was easy and helpful and friendly. Very clean. Comfy bed. Generous snacks and they provided use of snorkels and towels that were all clean. Huge bathroom.

quiet stay

The property owners are quite helpful and kind. The suite is well-equipped and very nice sitting out early in the morning on the patio listening to all the tropical birds. Loved my stay, very restful. You won't go amiss staying here :)

The place lived up to its on-line description and worked well for our short trip to the Big Island. The owners were very helpful to provide necessary information and available for anything else we might have needed. We would definitely return for a repeat stay if we had the time.

Cute vacation room rental

Larger room, huge bathroom with shower and tub. Tons of amenities! Lots of yummy snacks and all kinds of beach gear available. Easy check in, and great communication by host. Sad I had such a short trip and didn’t get to take advantage of everything!

Perfect for a couple

This is a great place for a couple to stay! It is very clean and extremely comfortable. The bathroom is quite large and the towels super soft! The neighborhood is attractive and quiet. Marcy was such a gracious host! She was easy to communicate with and thought of everything! Knowing it was our anniversary, she even surprised us with wine and cupcakes! Only wish we had more time to spend to enjoy the beautiful pool!

Absolutely wonderful!

This place is exactly what we needed for our time in Kona. A beautiful quiet neighbourhood, just a few minute drive to the busier part of town. The guesthouse was very spacious with all the beach accessories we needed (beach chairs, towels, umbrella, snorkelling gear). My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy the beautiful pool in the stunning backyard. Thanks again! We loved our stay.

Great Spot

Room and bathroom were bigger than typical hotel. Nice king sized bed with memory foam top (I think). Quiet neighborhood, just a short ride from town - we used scooters, but if you really want to explore the island, you need a car. The property had a really nice back yard with pool, but we didn't stay long enough to use it. It was exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again!

Gracious hosts, excellent accommodation

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here. John and Marcy (and Jen!) were wonderful hosts. From the fruit plate and goodies at check in to the snack bags for our flight home. Excellent quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes drive to the main highways north and south. Also just a few minutes to downtown. A 5 minute walk to Ali'I to catch the free trolley too. Back garden is wonderful and private and has that great pool. Accommodation has everything you need for your stay at the property and off, with all kinds of beach gear provided. John and Marcy are very generous and kind hosts. Would stay again if we make it back. Thank you guys.
