* Did not provide advertised amenities. * Dirty, stained mattresses * Smoking marijuana passively allowed. (No enforcement) We were in town for a funeral and were planning to use the advertised indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub with our children to incorporate some fun in what is otherwise somber times. Before booking I called the hotel front desk and confirmed that there was a swimming pool and hot tub available and working. Unfortunately, we arrived to find the swimming pool was ice cold and the hot tub didn't exist. We inquired with the front desk who informed us that they had previously turned off the pool heater, but would turn it on and the pool should be swimmable the next day. Instead of swimming the first night, we took our family of five to the movies. (~$100). The next day we checked the water temperature and it was still ice cold, but the front desk said they were working on it. Sadly, the pool temperature remained ice cold for our entire stay. We received no communication other than when we inquired.

I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and was happy that the bathroom seemed very clean and sanitary (no visible mold or mildew). The walls were thin, and it was very easy to hear the nocturnal habits of my next-door neighbors. A popular animated movie was on TV so I played that one...very loudly. I couldn't tell if the neighbor was telling their partner or me to shush. The pillow selection on the king-sized bed was nice; I had a choice of super soft to not-so-soft. I chose the 'Goldilocks' version of the pillow. The curtains were probably the only thing I'd like to change. The room I was in faced a back/vacant lot that had very bright lights. The blackout curtains did not black out the sides of the window, but that could have been my oversight. All room amenities worked well, although I couldn't successfully connect to WIFI. It may have been because I couldn't concentrate between the shushing, movie, and next-door neighbor noise.

Place was okay. Could have been a little cleaner and breakfast choices could have been better and the hours for breakfast ending at 9 on the weekends sucked. Couldn’t sleep in that’s for sure. Also Water didn’t get very hot in the shower area.

Room smelled moldy with very strong deodorizing scent to try to cover it up. Dirty tissues under nightstand. Carpet on stairs in entrance needs replacing. Rooms need updating.
