Exceptional, A/C, Beachfront Condo Without question, Lae Nani 321 is an exceptional condominium. Pure and simple, everything about it is beautiful. This is a second-floor, two-bedroom, two-bath, corner unit with windows on two sides and a large, wrap-around lanai. It is bright and airy, and has expansive views of Wailua Bay, the ocean, and the broad, palm-bordered beach directly in front of the building. The perspective and position of Lae Nani 321 are unique. It is absolute oceanfront so if you want to stay as close to the ocean as possible and have exceptional views of the beautifully landscaped property, you will most certainly enjoy Lae Nani 321\. Visitors and guests are always amazed and delighted by the sights and sounds here. The interior is a delight as well. The condo is beautifully furnished and maintained. Kitchen cabinets and living room paneling are rich Hawaiian Koa wood. The fully equipped kitchen is not only lovely, it is very convenient for preparing meals and snacks. And, if you enjoy grilling, the barbecue area is nearby and close to the swimming pool. The pool is large and surrounded by lovely tropical plantings. Check out the local Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to complete your culinary creations. When you choose to dine out, there are many restaurants in this area to tempt you with a nice variety of cuisine, from familiar favorites to tasty delicacies and, of course, fresh seafood. The master bedroom is modern and spacious, has built-in storage, and its own lanai directly facing the ocean. There is a gorgeous adjoining bath with a spacious glass-walled modern shower. After a long day Enjoying Kauai, relax in the comfortable living room and delight in watching what you want on Netflix. There are many activities nearby to enjoy, including seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boat tours and flightseeing aboard helicopters. Tennis enthusiasts will be delighted that Lae Nani has its own tennis court. Lae Nani is located on the east side of Kauai on the Coconut Coast, equidistant from the sights and activities on the north and south shores. The condo is less than 15 minutes from the airport and is close to shopping, golf courses, and the island's new walking and biking path that follows the eastern shore for miles. The lava rock keiki lagoon at one end of the beach, and many fascinating tide pools, are perfect play areas for youngsters. A recent guests comments: "Aloha! Wanted to thank you for the rental of Lae Nani 321 in Kauai for our family vacation! We loved everything about the condo, and would love to rent it again in the future. The views from three sides are spectacular. The condo is also beautifully decorated. The master bedroom/ bath are gorgeous! The condo is just as advertised... amazing location and beautiful views. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking and the outdoor storage closet had great beach items (beach chairs, boogey boards, yoga mats, coolers etc.) would 100% stay here again. One thing to note is the bathrooms had soaps but did not have shampoo and conditioner. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool was nice and big and refreshing. Proximity to the Coconut Marketplace with many shops and restaurants was very convenient. Close to many activities. The unit itself was just as shown online. One thing that would be nice is if the unit had a couple of beach chairs to take along to explore other beaches on the island. We were scrambling to find lodging and just by chance this property came on the market after a recent remodel. It is just in a perfect location on the corner of a building so you get fantastic ocean views in two directions. The private beach area is less than 100’ away so you can enjoy the sound of crashing waves, long distance views toward Lihue and beautifully landscaped grounds including a nice pool 50’ outside the door. We spent so much time on the lanai just enjoying the scenery and sounds and you will too. The property is north of Lihue in the town of Kapaa and we really liked the local town as it had lots of options for dining and all the essentials like a grocery store without the crowds of Lihue or Poipu…not to say it was quiet but a little less busy and very central for touring about the island. The condo itself has two very spacious bedrooms and baths which appear to have benefitted from the recent remodel. The open area is very comfortable and the kitchen is adequate for your needs. This condo is just lovely and was a perfect place for us to enjoy the island. Please note that part of the remodel included adding AC units in the bedrooms so the issue raised in reviews about it being hot is eliminated. We literally had no complaints and would definitely look to stay here again if returning. However, the ad said the unit was airconditioned, which is only partly true. The living room area has a mini-split AC unit but the bedrooms had nothing but fans. The night we arrived the unit was hot, stuffy and humid and we got almost no sleep. Not a lot of great restaurants in the immediate area, but the island is small and so drivable that you can get to excellent restaurants within 20 minutes drive. It is both clean and comfortable while having a "million dollar view" from two locations. The main balcanoy has seating for 6 and looks directly at the water. It is steps from both the beach and the pool which along with the landscaping is maintained in a top notch manner. The management team did a great job with two small issues we had also. The unit is within walking distance of shopping and dining options. Loved this condo! For starters, the Lae Nani complex is a gem, very well laid out, grounds beautifully kept, by far the best condo complex in that area. And this unit is one of the best in the complex in location, a corner unit in the center of the complex, which allows for panoramic views of the ocean, the views are truly stunning. This alone made my whole stay. In addition, the condo was clean, well maintained and it was very comfortable overall. Yes, it has carpet, oh well, not a big deal. The little annoyances that I see mentioned by other reviewers melt away with the overall package and experience. In addition, a couple of little surprises: kitchen knifes that cut, and rain shower heads (appreciated coming from the highly water conserving CA). I would have booked again for Spring Break, but it is not available, so will get another condo in the same complex. Re the complex, a couple of suggestions: (1) provide pool umbrellas, there is absolutely no shade in the pool and (2) fix the 3 broken washers (6 total), it gets hard to do laundry with only 3 functioning washers and all the housekeepers doing the condo laundry for towels and sheets at the same time. Had small issue with AC that took them couple of days to get to and even after it was repaired the bedrooms were pretty warm at night. This place is great and the view is outstanding but it does need a few upgrades. This is a small thing but it would be nice to have a coffee maker with a timer on it. I would still recommend this place to anyone but if you like to sleep cool I wouldn’t stay there in the summer. With a few extra minutes of cleaning fans, exhaust vents will go a long way and is easy to do. A built in AC unit would be great but for sure coverings on the eating area will help keep the condo cooler.
