This hotel is one of the best in Turkey, we have just spent a great week at The Residence. The hotel itself is immaculately clean inside and out. Staff are all very friendly and could not do enough for us. Food is served to you rather than buffet style and always a very good quality with a lot to choose from. Cocktails at the pool are very good with a wide selection of drinks available. We had a massage at the spa which was very relaxing. We also hired one of the cabanas on the beach which was great for the price, highly recommended.
Unfortunately, we must knock a star off for the problem we encountered towards the end of the holiday, there was some sort of photo/video shoot going on around the hotel (we assumed for a promotional video) which meant drones were flying around the pool area for most of the day. One did crash when it hit a tree next to us which nearly hit us whilst sunbathing. This did continue even after this incident, so it forced us to go inside as it wasn’t very relaxing with the fear of being hit and the noise from the drone itself.
We also had to move to the sister hotel next door as the residence closed for the season on our last day at 12:00, sadly this combined with the drones did spoil the last two days for us.
