I did like sitting out back on the water and watching boats and wildlife. It would have been nice to know there was no laundry facilities. My mistake is that I assumed there would be. It was very relaxing and a quaint place. The only cons were the couches/beds in the living room- they are not in a good position to watch the T.V. at night and they were very uncomfortable (the large pillows to lean up against did not hold their shape).
