“The room was out dated and not clean there was spiders in both side of the room. The staff was helpfully and kind and give us good recommendations for restaurants in the local area.”

“This is our 2nd time at Oceanpointe, and we have enjoyed the resort and its amenities, but this last time the unit we stayed in the floor and carpet were not clean at all. Also there were hardly any utensils to use in kitchen, no bowls or colander to drain spaghetti, just bare minimum in the kitchen. It made it difficult to prepare anything especially when you have young children. They should be more cognizant of these necessities for families away from home for a few days.”

“The parking is good. There is a nice pool and restaurant. You will have breakfast with a lot of sea birds nearby and other animals waiting for you here and there. The facilities in the room are really aged and don’t work efficiently, including the toilet, sink, closet, telephone, doors. ”

“I arrived to find that my room was overbooked and already taken . I was offered two other rooms that were not acceptable. One without a sofa and one with no view. After traveling to the keys from Ft. Lauderdale it was most disappointing. They offered a refund and it took me three hours to find somewhere else to stay. Will not come back”

“Drop Anchor has been around forever and the floors and couch must be original. I can say I have never sat on a more uncomfortable couch and the pull out bed was utterly useless as it felt like it was a prison camp mattress. That being said, the staff was so exceptional and the room was clean, cool, and uniquely they can sleep more than 4 people. If they would just burn or throw away the couch that has been overused since what seems like the late 1970's this would have been a 5 star stay. ……
