This was a very disappointing stay. The pictures on the website showed updated rooms and a breakfast bar with hot food. The reality was far different!
We were in Pullman moving our son in for the Fall semester at WSU. It also happened to be our 24th anniversary weekend (and we had met at WSU, so it was pretty special). We had reserved a room with a king-sized bed and a view of the city. When we arrived, we were told that there was a problem with our room. We were told that we would be “upgraded” to a suite. When we got to our room, the look of the room was completely outdated and our view was of the parking lot! Making things worse, the jacuzzi tub in the room had two huge spiders living in it! I had to go to the front desk to get paper towels to kill the spiders - it didn’t make the outdated room feel any better.
The noise in the room at night was terrible, as well. We heard everything from the room above and there were constant creaking noises.
Finally, the breakfast was a complete disappointment. The photos online show hot food under a sneeze guard. The reality is that there were cases with microwaveable food (breakfast sandwiches, eggs, etc.) and only ONE microwave for everyone to use (to be fair, there were also 2 waffle makers). The lack of hot, prepared food was the topic of conversation of everyone in the breakfast line and multiple others were also noted to be asking the staff about the lack.
Overall, a disappointing stay and we won’t return.
