The AC was loud and clunky, the bed harder then a rock, stains on the carpet chair had a tear in the foot rest, trash on the floor in the bathroom. TV did not work remote wouldn't turn it on nor the box even though it had power. Will not stay again ever.

Overpriced and staff is super unhelpful.

The Monarch Motel is very conveniently located in the middle of the downtown Moscow area. Given we were visiting during the summer season, so it was not as noisy/busy as it would be during the academic year, but we found the location and noise level to be very enjoyable. Once we arrived, we did not move our car until we left. The staff were very kind and prompt in helping. During checkout, they found that we left a water bottle, and held it at the front desk for us to come back and get, which was very kind! The property was very clean, and the beds were comfortable (the frame was a little noisy though). The temperature of the room was also great! When it was too warm or needed a break, the room was a short walk away to cool off.
