“Welcome was good, friendly and informative. Room was pleasant, clean and well situated with à separate entrance to Restaurant.
Meals taken were good with excellent selection for breakfast.
We were aware of entertainment in the Bar, which was excellent both nights. Note: entertainment is not availble in their Bar every night but there is entertainment somewhere in Rostrevor each night.”

“Had a lovely room overlooking the sea. Rooms were warm and quirky and bed very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly which means a lot. And the food was amazing. Would definitely go back.”

“This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-a charming older style hotel with lots of character. The property was clean and very well maintained. Beautiful grounds and setting in the hills overlooking Newcastle-yet convenient to most everything. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant served wonderful comfort food at a very good value. We will definitely return on a future visit.”

“This property is immaculate, everything was absolutely perfect! The view is breathtaking and there’s plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it from, my son particularly liked the swings, slide and football area we were allowed to make use of! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom is huge, we didn’t use the kitchen much as we were only there for 1 night but it’s very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need! The hosts are brilliant, you won’t meet nicer people and nothing was too……
