"Breakfast very good. Beds comfy. Parking plentiful and not too expensive. A bit of a walk to centre but not too far... and a nice walk. Negatives: for the price the view from the south facing rooms is awful. The sink was partially blocked. Would come back and plead for a room with a view of city not earthworks and rails. Paying over €170 euro for a room should've done that without me asking."

"Really nice, modern and large room. Appreciated having English TV channels (bbc 1,2,itv1). Big bathroom, bath and shower was good for baby bathing. Popular place for the town, always busy bar and restaurant that looked very nice though we didn’t eat there. Was very close to the centre of Oostkamp which had a few restaurants and a small Carefore shop. "

Parking was easy (which counts for lot when travelling for work), hotel was architecturally interesting and full of history, and the rooms were quaint and clean. Above all the staff were brilliant.
