Best location in the area, very responsive owner, right next to the pool and beach path, this is the place to book 👍🏼 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By M.J.G. Absolutely phenomenal stay at Jeff’s! We started our trip in princeville and were actually sad on our drive to Jeff’s to leave - but that ended quickly! The condo is gorgeous - and the views are absolutely accurate. A wonderful welcome basket was waiting for us, and we were blown away at the proximity to the beach - A four minute walk to the beach, and perhaps a six minute walk to the spot where nightly, turtles come and relax on the beach. Puka dog is right there, and if you’re craving Mexican, hit up the perfectly named spot “ da crack.” We will def be back to this gem - also the home is decorated perfectly. At night we even turned off the ac to enjoy the breeze in the master. You’ll be so happy you booked with these guys! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By D.W. Stay was great. Location literally could not be better if you want to get to the beach. There was lots of space, great house, and we loved the beach club that we had access to. Jeff was a very communicative and considerate host. Zero complaints. I’ll definitely be back. Can sleep up to 6 with King-size beds in the bedrooms and living room furnishings can be converted into a sleeping space for two children (or young adults) Stay fit while on vacation by taking advantage of our access to the beautiful Poipu Beach Athletic Club! Or just take the kids there to enjoy the pool. It's amenities include a beautiful resort style pool with kiddie slide and hot tub, terrific pool side restaurant and bar, tennis and pickle ball courts, and extensive fitness equipment. Other things to note Brennecke's and Poipu Beaches are frequently visited by the endangered honu and monk seals. Be sure to give the seals their space (minimum 50 ft) and enjoy them from a distance. Guests have access to the Manualoha pool and the Poipu Kai pool and hot tub. Guests have access to the Poipu Kai tennis club for a small fee payable to the club. The staff keeps a list of available local and visiting players and is very helpful in setting up good matches. Guests have access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. There are terrific running/hiking trails along ocean cliffs on the other side of the Grand Hyatt, a 15 minute walk through the landscaped grounds of Poipu Kai. Shopping, art galleries, and more restaurants are a few minutes away by car, either in the upscale Poipu or Kukuiula Shopping Centers or in quaint Old Town Koloa just two miles away. ## Property amenities ### Beach - The location can't be beat and the views are spectacular. We spent the majority of our time on the upstairs lanai. The layout was perfect for two couples. Jeff & Kimberly were amazing hosts - very proactive and responsive to any questions we had before and during our trip. As there is only one true master bedroom, we did a mid-week switch and they recommended a mid-week cleaning which we took advantage of and very much appreciated! Unobstructed view, steps to the ocean, walking distance to restaurants. It needs some updating. When we stayed in February 2023 it was not very clean. Reviews all gave it 5 stars for cleanliness. Paul's Place in Princeville where we stayed prior to Turtle was a 5 star. I am not sure how this unit got the same credentials First impression: outdoor stairs were covered with bird poop and dead bugs. The master bedroom has a view. The other looks on the parking lot. Beds are very comfortable The decor is dated. Tub is stained, shower door in master coated with soap film, toothpaste spatters on the cabinets. The stairs to the main floor are carpeted. At the foot of the stairs along the molding were piles of dead insects. (Not roaches). The banister was sticky. There was a plastic highchair in the living area. There is a sun screen for the ocean facing window. It was open when we arrived and the room was very hot. The A/C is not effective under these circumstances. Close the sun shade in the AM before leaving to keep it cool. The kitchen is well appointed and everything works well. We found dirty knives in the knife holder, fridge door was grubby. The upstairs windows had lots of finger and nose prints present. We contacted the owners who were very responsive. A woman came and cleaned after 2 days. We were refunded our cleaning fee and got a restaurant gift certificate. We would prefer honest reviews and a clean space. ##### mary h. We really appreciated their excellent communication leading up to our trip and during our stay. They also provided a full list of recommendations that were very helpful. The condo is awesome! It has an awesome main living room, with full length windows and a patio to enjoy the stunning beach views! It is in an extremely convenient location, immediately adjacent to the pool and in walking distance to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. Thank you, Jeff & Kimberly! Weather was rainy while we were there and this location allowed us to make the best of the weather. Even when staying inside, the view was fantastic. When the weather cleared, it was a quick walk down to the beach. We could see the closest pool from the condo, so we could also see when chairs/tables were available, and we could easily pop down. The condo had everything we needed (including coffee grinder and necessities). Plenty of towels for beach, showers, cleaning off at the door, etc. Chairs and umbrellas too. 2.5 bathrooms helps make it very comfortable for everyone. There is also a business to rent snorkel gear right on the walk to the beach (and great snorkeling right there). Sea turtles were resting on the beach throughout our entire visit (more overnight, but also a few during the day). A few seals as well. Only issues we had were minor and were from the complex, not the owners. (only one working BBQ that was being used, we ended up using the oven instead). Close pool was unexpectedly locked for a day, but another pool was available. The owners are very responsive and answered questions right away. Jan 25, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### One of the best spots in Poipu Manualoha 106 has to be one of the nicest places in to stay in Poipu Kai area. The unit probably has the very best view in the area. You are up high with direct view of Brennecke's beach with nicely landscaped common land in the foreground. The unit was recently remodeled with tasteful clean decor, brand new kitchen and new furniture. We cooked/grilled on three of our nights and were thrilled to have an extensive array of appliances, cookware, spices and staples already supplied. There is a clean brand-new extra large grill right outside the unit. We hosted some a few CEO clients and they were jealous of how nice are unit was. Coffee was supplied as was a top notch grinder and brew system. (Good coffee is critical to a good vacation.) You are right next to a quiet and nicely kept pool. There is tennis and pickleball adjacent to that. It's a short walk to the Hyatt, to the beach, to Puka Dog and Brennecke's Grill. You can park right in front of the unit. the unit comes with chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Jeff and Kimberly are wonderful hosts. Communication was easy, responsive and frequent. They provided many nice unexpected touches to the visit. I would highly recommend--you don't need to look any further. ##### John B. We all loved the condo layout, the beautiful view, the close proximity to the pool and beach, 2.5 bathrooms, remodeled kitchen, super helpful owners and nice touches such as plenty of coffee, creamers, condiments and spices :) When our kids were little, we would have preferred the 1st floor , but now that they are grown, the layout of Manualoha #106 was perfect.
