The morning buffet was poor compared to other buffets. The items in The egg station were old cold, and the toasters did not actually toast. There was no omelette station.

Best location in Kyoto. Walkable to everything especially for the nigh life. Hotel is clean and service is great for what we payed. Not expensive at all. I will definitely stay here again if I will come back.

Really enjoyed our stay with Cross Hotel. It is very welcoming.. the reception area smells nice, the staff very polite and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was something to look forward to - many quality options to choose from.

This hotel was so convenient and easy to get to every tourist attraction. The area around the hotel was bustling and had so many food, shopping and entertainment options. A quick walk to the Nishiki Market. The hotel is clean and trendy as well. I’m glad I chose this hotel.

Stayed there for a week. Kyoto is just amazing and the location was perfect for us visiting as a family. The only hiccup we had was bad advice from staff when trying to make collect calls for travel rearrangements due to a typhoon. We followed the procedure and they ended up charging us at a high rate although we made collect calls. Explaining the situation to the staff in charge did not help and was quite rude insisting that the hotel was not making collect calls. It was likely a communication breakdown. Still enjoyed the comfort, convenience, location, and overall experience.

Large comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. In a good location, walking distance to lots of attractions and good food places close by. The staff were incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind and very helpful with any request we had. We highly recommend for any stay in Kyoto!
