“This was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve even had… as in small cruse ship small. With the exception of the view… which is phenomenal, the property feels like a Holiday Inn Express. The are cats that use the area near the loungers and balconies as litter boxes. As a result sitting on the balcony was impossible most days as it reeked out there. The bartended was great. But the rest of the staff ranged from moderately helpful to rude. On our first night a ceiling light started to leak……

“Four of us stayed for a week at the Hotel Negresco in August. It's in a very convenient location in Playa de Palma, just across the street from the beach and adjacent to several bus lines going to the city and the airport. The staff members were wonderful: they were always polite, friendly, and helpful, and most were multi-lingual. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was well-maintained. We only had a couple of minor complaints. First, the room air conditioning could not cope……
