“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,……

“Everything about this stay was good. The location is very convenient, just off the freeway, yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, and quick. Any of the staff we saw were very friendly and always said hello. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. It was quiet and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again.”

“It was a warm dry place to sleep. Other than that, room cleanliness was ok at best. Breakfast was poor quality (unlike other Best Westerns). When I checked in at 9pm, it took ten minutes of ringing for the front desk for someone to show up. Not something I would recommend. I did sleep well is probably the most important thing though. I was comfortable.”
