My husband and I were looking for a quiet fall getaway. The Wolfeboro Inn is an excellent place for exactly that. I knew immediately when walking in that this place was not only quaint but cozy. We stayed in the mini suite and had plenty of room and zero issues with our entire stay. Shower was plenty warm, temperature of the room was perfect, mini fridge held its temperature, and staff was very helpful to suggest surrounding must-sees!
This is a wonderful old inn and likely the best place to stay in Wolfeboro. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Very nice modern bathrooms. View from the rooms is not great; only a very few have a partial lake view. Some rooms towards the roadside of the property overlook the dumpsters and hvac units! Very close to the town center which is well worth a walk around. Some really nice restaurants with lake views and some great small stores. Onsite restaurant has good food; notably great breakfast options. Overall made a good choice for a one-night stay on our Fall Foliage road trip through New England.
The front desk people were very helpful. Inn is in a great location. The room was nothing special but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. No view to speak of - the back of a bush. There were 2 of us and the 2nd person taking a shower in the morning only got lukewarm water, which was disappointing especially considering what we paid for the room.
Room was lovely, cool and clean on a hot summer day in June! Even though we were only in town for 1 night we throughly enjoyed the property and thankful we were able to grab coffee at the Continental Breakfast by 7am as we were leaving to travel home. Such a convenience!
This was just, “okay.” Totally passable. The restaurant was fabulous.

We went up to attend a surprise birthday party for a friend. I loved the wolf barrow Inn. Our room was very clean and I like the atmosphere in the waiting area. We went to the Tavern, which is great.

We stayed here for one night for an early morning visit to Brewster Academy. The property looks like is was well kept. The last working the evening shift was really nice and helpful checking us in. The lady working the front desk in the morning was very rude. We asked for late checkout to allow our son the opportunity to come back and shower after his visit to Brewster Academy, but she was not accommodating at all despite the hotel not being at capacity. The room was okay. Nothing special and the bathroom was dated. I wish there were better options in the immediate area.
We had a very nice room. We were given a free upgrade. Staff was very accommodating. Property is right in the center of town within walking distance of restaurants, shops, the lake and X-country skiing. We had a great time.
