“Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. ”

“Clean, helpful and friendly hosts who knew my name. A great breakfast included with even freshly carved ham. No air conditioning but based on probability not a great issue. No fridge. They should highlight the close availability of public transport to and from St Ives where it is impossible to get a parking spot.”

“Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟”

The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus……
