"Room smelled moldy and we had roaches inside the room. Bed bugs were in my sister bed. She got bitten both nights in her bed. But i didn't have any in in my bed. Staff is friendly and hotel is convenient to the highway."

"Nice place to rest if visiting family in surrounding areas. 3rd time staying at this location this time the room could’ve been cleaned better and wiped down stuff on the floor. Overall very clean no bugss is a plus!!"

"We had a wonderful mini vacation at Archies lake daze cottage. It was well stocked and clean and charming. Lots of activities to do even if it rains, like darts and pool and Pac-Man. We were outside most of the time because we were lucky to have good weather. I loved the hammock. It was a relaxing three day trip and we all enjoyed it very much. The king bed in the master bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and we slept well. I would highly recommend this place. I would love to return, maybe in the summer when we could do more on the lake."

"The house was impressive!! The online pictures don't do it justice as the in-person experience allows you to enjoy the history of the property. The host was responsive and helpful. Travel to Charleston was easy from the property and we enjoyed the locals as well. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. The private dock was very nice in lending to a quiet serene waterfront to watch the sunsets."

"Good location with a large yard. The host replaced the coffee maker that was broken within 24 hours. "

"All was clean. Would stay here again on our next trip to the area. Hope to stay longer next time and will bring fishing stuff. Everything was great and just a short trip into Manning for anything you forgot or needed. "
