This is a wonderful place to stay in Wicklow, and is walkable to Glendalough and the Wicklow Way. My room was small but very clean and comfortable and charmingly appointed with a large bath, desk, very good internet, etc. Breakfast was ample and they had the best brown bread locally made. For those looking to hike and be mindful of the environment, there is a bus from Dublin that drops you 5 mins away, and the Lodge is on a trail to all the local hikes, dinner is also walkable so you do not need...

The Glendalough Hotel was the perfect location for visiting the Glendalough ruins, park and waterfalls. Staff were excellent. The hotel is a bit dated. Two of my traveling companions had leaks and mold issues in their rooms but once it was brought to the staff’s attention, they were immediately moved. Breakfast and dinner were good quality. I would recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the area.

The staff were an absolute delight. So helpful and very happy to help us with any questions and suggestions. The morning breakfast was amazing. Again, provided by a very attentive staff. A beautiful facility in a lovely town. Close to the Powerscourt estate. We called ahead about parking which was no problem. Emma suggested Johnnie Fox’s for an authentic Irish dinner. Amazing!

The Parkview Hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful small town that gives this hotel a very pleasing feel to it. It's close enough to Dublin yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of a big city. The rooms are large , clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again without hesitating.

Nick and dad are amazing people and their dogs especially Luna. Being out in the country was great. The property had animals that you could visit, the gardens were spectacular.
Thank you again for making our stay so special.

The Woodenbridge is an iconic inn located in the hills of Avoca, outside of Arklow. It is the oldest hotel in Ireland, and is a popular spot to stay, or spend the afternoon. The rooms are comfortable with modern conveniences. They have a hearty breakfast buffet, and the bar was a great place to get an afternoon drink to enjoy on their sunny patio. Their staff are very friendly and helpful.
