“Frühstückbuffet war etwas lieblos, es gab keinen Aufschnitt und Käse nur auf Nachfrage. Das Personal war auch nicht besonders aufmerksam, aufgefüllt wurde nur auf Nachfrage.”

“The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast.”

“Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und das Frühstück sehr lecker, mit einer wirklich guten und vielfältigen Auswahl. Leider ist das Hotel insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat den Eindruck, dass seit mehreren Jahrzehnten kaum etwas renoviert oder modernisiert wurde. Besonders negativ aufgefallen sind uns die sehr schmutzigen Fenster, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Frühstücksraum. Im Frühstücksraum hingen außerdem deutlich sichtbare Spinnweben an der Decke. “We arrived early knowing that check in was not until 4pm but were told they had informed housekeeping we had arrived and to have lunch in the bar. We came back 3.5 hours later to be told the room was still not ready when other people who arrived after us were given rooms. Very poor start to our break ”

“The Palm was such a lovely place to start our vacation! The location is great and the staff were kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious with plenty of character. We wish we could have stayed for longer. The only drawback is parking as it is a very busy road.”

“The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)”

“Room, hotel & restaurant beautifully kept and decorated. Bed was fabulous. Food was wonderful. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The grounds were spacious for dining in or out- a great place to relax. Highly recommended.”

“This place is an absolute gem. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Parking was easy. The property is meticulously maintained. Good location for getting to the park easily but also quietly around the corner. I had a newly renovated bathroom and loved it! Gorgeous tile, large shower, modern faucets (IYKYK), shelves for your stuff.”
