"Mysigt och avskilt lägenhet. Fick inte checka in förrän 18, men Michalis kompenserade oss mycket bra. Skulle rekommendera detta boende om du vill få rå om dig själv en stund 😊💗."

"Uncomplicated stay, very nice, friendly and helpful people who are working at Kostas apts.
We stayed in two rooms, they were clean, we had all the necessary stuff and it was absolutely enough for us.
The location is great: few minutes from the Stalis beach, supermarket and restaurants, parking is in front of the building.
All in all we had a great holiday!"

Perfect place to stay in Agios! Right on the water walkable to the lake and tons of restaurants but a little more on the outskirts of the chaos. The staff are what make this place- they are truly all amazing and go above and beyond. We had a spa suite with a hot tub and just a regular ocean view room- nice room but I think you actually get a better view in the regular rooms. The spa bath is more like a one person jacuzzi because it’s very slippery and when we had two people the water started to...

Great resort and good staff, the location and viewe is perfect, the place deserves three or four days to staying. I would like to thank the wonderful staff Athina who made our stay better when she learned that our early departure brought breakfast at night. She is a commendable employee.

This is a very nice hotel near the marina, a bit away from the chaos of the center of A.N. but still close to restaurants, the beach, etc. The perfect location in my opinion. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was fairly basic but clean. We booked a room with a large deck - enough room for 2 loungers, a bistro set, and a bit tub (with unheated water perfect for cooling off in). We spent quite a bit of time on that deck. Breakfast was very good as well. Good...

Nothing bad to say about this resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded from a Ocean View Suite to the Ocean View Suite with Private Swimming Pool at no additional charge. The Greek hospitality was immediately recognizable. They gave us a free massage, bottle of wine and water, fruit basket and another free bottle of wine coupon to be used with dinner at the resort. The room was spacious with new amenities. The dinner restaurant was a buffet that cost 25 euro p/p. I would say that may have been the...

An absolute gem in Agios Nikolaos! Highly recommended!
We stayed at Moncasa Suites during our trip to Crete and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location is wonderfully convenient—just a short, easy walk into town—and the property itself was immaculately clean, modern, and comfortable.
What truly sets Moncasa Suites apart, though, is the incredible hospitality. When we called upon arriving early in the morning, Alexandra kindly accommodated us and let us check in early right...

We stayed at Istron Collection Villas in September 2026, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Our villa was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and having our own private pool made the stay even more special.

It's just great resort. The location is great. The facilities are wonderful. We were a couple on vacation and first when I've seeing the kid guests I thought it would be noisy. But The resort is very well planned - it felt like not crowded at all. There were plools for kids and just great SPA for adults. It has 4 or 5 restaurants on the territory of the resort - so you don't need (or actually you don't want) to go anywhere else. There's a direct access to the sea with good sand beach....

This is a luxurious, beautiful hotel set in one of the most beautiful surroundings possible. Flowers, gardens, art, good food, amazing access to the sea. A very special place. We were upgraded to a villa with private pool and this was phenomenal. The villa was large and very well designed. Our only complaint was that the shower was very small. There was a separate bathtub in the room with a gorgeous view that made up for it, however.

We couldn't be happier with our choice. Everything was simply perfect. Location was in the heart of Malia, close to most restaurants and shops. Our luxury 2-bedroom apartment had an amazing interior, it was also spacious and very clean. Pool area was great as well. We would love to return there some day.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Every question we had, were address on the very
confident and knowledge level. People who work there (and also across the island) speak at least
several languages because of the multi cultured tourists and visitors they have to deal with.
So, there was no problems with communicating. In addition, their native friendly and welcoming nature makes you feel like you are belonging there. Their warm hospitality makes you to want to come there again. I...

The best area to stay in Latsida is within the village itself, particularly around the central square and the surrounding streets.
Latsida is a small, traditional Cretan village, and its main appeal lies in its authentic, laid-back atmosphere. The central square is the heart of the village, featuring a few local tavernas where you can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine. The streets are narrow and winding, lined with older stone houses and small gardens. It's a place where you can experience genuine village life.
For couples seeking a quiet and authentic Greek experience, staying in Latsida is ideal. You'll find a selection of charming guesthouses and villas, often with balconies offering views of the olive groves or the village itself. It's a wonderful base for exploring the local culture, enjoying leisurely meals, and relaxing away from more crowded tourist areas.
Travelers who appreciate a slower pace and want to connect with local traditions will also find Latsida to be a good fit.
When is the best time to go to Latsida?
The best time to visit Latsida is during the shoulder seasons of April to early June and September to October. These months offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and a more relaxed experience.
During these periods, you'll find comfortable temperatures superb for exploring the village and its surroundings without the intense heat of mid-summer. The landscapes are lush in spring, and the sea remains warm enough for swimming well into October. This timing allows for a tranquil visit, ideal for couples seeking a peaceful getaway or solo travelers looking for quiet contemplation.
July and August are the peak summer months, characterized by higher temperatures and larger crowds, especially in popular coastal areas. While Latsida itself maintains a more secluded feel, nearby attractions and beaches will be busier.
