"This is the second stay for my family at Brookside. What we enjoy most is having access to 370+ acres which includes fish ponds and paths for meandering. There's a nearby stream and waterfall to explore, plus easy access to the D&L trail for walking or biking. Also, Hickory Run State Park is close by for hiking. Overall, a very relaxing place to escape!"

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. We love going to Lake Harmony and this was our first time staying at this property. The location was great and the house was lovely- very clean and the upgrades were really nice! We had such a relaxing weekend. "Cozy home with comfortable beds and all basic necessities.. though nonevof the extras some owners offer…you need to supply all sheets, towels and even paper towels.. and wood for the fireplace. Owner came right over to change batteries in the main floor thermostat as the house was cold upon arrival. "the home was okay , needs work . needs painting and updating . very steep stairs for children to go up and down (not recommended for small kids or elderly ) needs better cleaning . windows dirty and no curtains , no dish soap or laundry detergent no chemicals for hot tub at least from what i saw . i won’t book again ."

"We loved the area; it’s excellent for hiking spots. Our problem was communication with owner/co-owner. We could not get the air conditioning to work and the upstairs bedroom was quite warm. We talked to the owners about it and they tried to explain what we needed to do. It didn’t work and we kept getting an error code. We were told they would have it resolved. "My group of 7 and I had a lovely time staying here. Everything we could have possibly needed for cooking or outdoor living was provided, which was really nice. There was a perfect amount of space outside to play cornhole and enjoy the fire pit. Also, communication with the host went well. I would definitely recommend."
