"It was very fun, I came with the whole family. The room was clean and super close to the games, we really liked that. The room we had was a bit outdated, our USB charging port wasn't working, and the furniture looked a bit worn off. The service was amazing; we had a great time because of the people, to be honest. The only downside was that some areas were a bit outdated, and the lobby carpet had a strong odor of humidity and puke. The pool had a very strong chlorine odor, making it impossible to be in for more than an hour, and the pools had rust areas. Bathrooms were always clean and on point. Restaurants were nice and clean, and the food was decent, nothing out of this world. Hallways were clean and well-maintained. I didn't like that we had to pay $25 for parking per day. Like, why don't you just give it for free to the guests who are staying the night? It's very inconsiderate."

"Stayed at this hotel for one night as we drove from FL to MA. Staff were super friendly, check in was easy, price was great, and our hotel room was updated, clean and modern....which impressed us because as we walked down the hallway on the 2nd floor, we were a bit taken back by the carpet which was worn. The hotel room was great! As I said, very clean and looked completely renovated. Maybe the hotel is going through a renovation and doing the rooms first. Either way, I gave this hotel a good rating because my experience - with the exception of the hallways - was great! And it also has a hotel bar/restaurant, which many hotels at this price do not. Close to gas and quick bites. Enjoy it!"

"Honestly, my family and I travel VERY often. This has to be one of the WORST stays we’ve experienced. Found bed bugs, pool had some molding around the edges and by chairs, pool and gym had codes in order to get in the doors which we needed to do about 3 times in order for them to work. On top of that there was a scary moment where the maintenance staff was caught peeping through peoples peak holes (including mine) and when confronted he lied and said he didn’t do that when I witnessed it with my own eyes. I could not believe it. My kids and I had to miss dinner because this man gave us the creeps to where we didn’t wanna leave our room until check out. It’s safe to say I did not sleep that night. I also woke up with bumps all over my leg ! There was also a lice bug in the bathroom (my kids and I did not have ANY SYMPTOMS of lice or bed bugs before arrival, concluding they 100% there upon arrival."

"Wow! What an amazing idea to convert a YMCA into a hotel that borders on luxurious. The price for what you get ratio is unmatched in Jim Thorpe. Free breakfast as nice to have offered, there's a nice small bar in the lobby with outdoor seating. You're dead smack in the middle of everything that is cool about Jim Thorpe on Broadway Street. The room we stayed in was a King suite and it was massive. Just passing by other rooms being cleaned you could see they were all spacious. My only complaint is that our room had a sliding door on the bathroom and unfortunately the door slid shut from the outside not the inside which left visibility into the toilet area from the couch and sitting area in the room. Even for a couple that's an invasion of privacy while using the restroom. It was a clearly visible seam to the person using the toilet."
