Good overnight stay driving through. Generous room and bathroom. Nice blend of old on new. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Restaurant was a nice addition. All good. Thanks

The rooms are dated but my room was clean. I didn’t see any bugs or anything. The walls seem rather thin. The beds were comfortable. Lighting was very dim, TV didn’t work until my husband fixed it. When we first got there the maintenance man had to break into the room with a pry bar because the key card didn’t work. The manager did not like me paying through Expedia, she said she could give me a better price but in fact the local newspaper said the rooms were a certain price but when I questioned why she was charging over $150 more she said bc I was already a guest when I explained I was paying for the next few days so I explained that it should be like a new reservation she then changed it and said she only had 1 room at that rate and she had already rented it out that morning. This was at 10:30am and check in is not until 3:00 unless you are already my a guest. I never had housekeeping, I cleaned my own room and did my own laundry. There was no coffee maker, hairdryer, iron or kitchenette like described. I ended up leaving bc I felt like she was lying about the room price. We did not get our deposit bs k that she made me pay after I had already booked the room through Expedia. I may be wrong but I felt like she was pocketing some of the money she was upcharging. But she was nice, No one was rude and as I said my room was clean and free of bugs.

Given very hotels in town this place is awesome! Nice view. Clean. Friendly staff.

The room was relatively clean. I noticed some flood damage in the bathroom. Our stay in the area revolved around visiting family and having a place to rest at night. We have stayed at a different Tennessee Americourt in Mountain City . They are similar. Essentially it is an adequate place to stay . Parking is no problem. Other patrons tended to smoke near the entrances causing a smoke smell to draw into the building. Pets are allowed, we don’t bring pets but fortunately the pets were quiet but you can hear the people.
