“Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.”

“Staff were very helpful and efficient. Rooms and hotel are very modern with a good lounge and bar. Breakfast was nice with a reasonable choice. I would recommend it to anyone. Secure parking on site was reassuring. Very close to the train station but no issue with noise.”

The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is lovely, the rooms are small but really clean and the beds are some of the most comfortable we have slept in and if you can see my other reviews we are very very fussy! “We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. “Rooms are small but comfortable. The desk reminded me of a dorm room but we had a double bed and a private bath. There is a lift. On the days we were there, the air conditioning was not functioning. I would have liked a mini fridge but the room didn't have one. The hotel name is confusing. This hotel is part of a chain called B & B Hotels but the hotel itself is not actually a Bed & Breakfast. It's just an ordinary hotel. I was told breakfast is available for an extra fee but we ate somewhere……
