On their automated machine for check-in, they did not have my name available for the automatic check-in. It was difficult to understand the woman who answered the phone. Eventually, I got in.

Très chouette petit appartement où rien ne manquait. Nous y avons séjourné 2 adultes avec nos 4 ados et c'était parfait. Très propre, climatisé, tenu par des hôtes charmants et accueillants. Un beau petit coin en pleine campagne, avec une vue magnifique de l'océan et la plage du Cap Macré à proximité. ...

The beach is not made to swim or for families, only good for kite surfing. Lots of sargasses weeds along this coast. The path to access the property is really bumpy and in bad condition . Fortunately, the residence is on Google map so not too difficult to find even though there is some road work ...

Beautiful spot for sunset. Walkable distance to beach and 15 mins drive to other beaches in the south and only 25 mins to the airport

The town is busy and somewhat congested due to the tight roads. It is still a pleasant area. The marina seemed to be the main purpose of the area. There weren't any nearby beaches worth visiting. So, you really need to rent a vehicle.
Do have a rudimentary knowledge of French. It helps, but is not mandatory. Just attempting to speak it will ensure warm reception. The bakery on the main street is fantastic, and every restaurant we tried was super tasty...
