We have stayed here a number of times before with no issues, however, we were disappointed this time. The room was not as clean as usual, there was a chicken nugget left on the floor and spilt tomato ketchup stains that had not been cleaned up properly! Bathroom did not feel as clean as standard of past visits. Check in queue longest we have ever had to stand in at any hotel, to be fair we did arrive as check in opened for the day but there was only one person on the desk at peak check in time on a Saturday, who was trying her best. We joined a queue that went outside the hotel and down the stairs. Staff in the adjoining restaurant which serves breakfast very pleasant and accommodating. Food options serves are pretty standard.

Parking (£10 overnight) was literally next door to the hotel so very convenient. The room was spacious, modern and well appointed, with a very nice en suite bath/shower room.The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient.
