Leeds Green/Sustainable hotels in West Yorkshire, England

Overall a good experience, however some niggles - on the first morning when shown to our breakfast table we were not asked about tea or coffee, after several minutes I had to go and find someone to ask for tea. several minutes later I had to ask again before it arrived. Second morning were asked but again had to chase it up after several minutes, the order had not been passed on. The waiting staff were very good, t was the greeters that were at fault. Woken on one night at 11:25 by loud talking staff outside, sounded like they were on a break but gave no consideration to guests as their conversations could be heard, very loud as if shouting to each other. Second evening had dinner in the Claret Jug restaurant, my main course selection did not mention it contained cheese on the menu, however it was a main ingredient, I commented that I would not have selected it if it had, the waitress took it away and said the chef would prepare another dish for me. The real problem came because my wife then had to eat her meal whilst I waited and then had to wait whilst I ate. we dined separately. I ad ordered a hot side dish but had to eat that on its own as it was going cold. A real pity because the hotel was good, comfortable and well located.

We loved Radisson Blu in Leeds. It was a perfect location for us. The train station is a straight walk just a few blocks away. We found great shopping and many many dining choices within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and very modern. USB ports for charging electronics, mini bar, safe, air conditioning and plenty of lights. The bathroom was huge and also modern. LOVE the huge bath towels and the powerful hairdryer. Our room was on the front of the hotel so we did hear a little street noise (but not so much that it was a nuisance). The rooms on the back side of the hotel overlook the inside of the attached mall. I imagine those rooms would be very quiet as the mall did not appear to be crowded during our stay. If you are looking for a hotel in the City Hall area, this is the one. Just go ahead and make your reservation now.

Room was lovely with bottled water and a chocolate left for each of us. We had a family room for 4. Nice fluffy towels and robes to use. Room was clean. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. There was even fresh fruit to make smoothies with.Lots of different types of breads and pasteries as well as a fully stocked hot buffet. Staff were really nice and very helpful. Free new paper with breafast supplied. Top job.

Good hotel close to city and station. 1930's feel and décor. The room was large and so was the bathroom. Our only complaint was the noise. We stayed on a Saturday and there was a wedding going on below our room window. The music was blasting out and it was difficult to sleep. At checkout at reception the next morning I mentioned this, but the receptionist just looked sad and said she was sorry. I do think that guests should be warned if the hotel will be noisy and given the option to go elsewhere. Also, I specifically mentioned that we required parking at the hotel when we booked. However, when we got there the carpark was full. We were directed to the station carpark and paid £19 to leave our car on the roof. It would be a good idea to use this hotel if arriving by train.

Hotel is very comfortable with helpful, pleasant staff. Nice having areas to sit in - the lounge and outside the Stables pub. The hotel have started providing fruit and bottles of water in the reception area and replenish water bottles in the room daily. These small touches are lovely and appreciated. We have stayed at the hotel many times over the years and have stayed in different types of room - always clean and comfortable but consider your requirements when booking. Lots of parking and a bus stop outside where you can catch a bus to town.

Family two night stay. Extremely clean and tidy. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Lovely location with bars and restaurants nearby.

Hotel in great location. Across street from train station. Walking to all shopping. Clean and comfortable.

It was really useful that I was early to arrive and allowed to check in early.all staff superb and no complaints. Def will book here again soon.
