“What a cute place! The view is so beautiful and it’s quiet and conveniently located. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Hallway lighting could be improved since the nightlights go off after a few minutes. Host helped adjust our stay to accommodate changes in our plans. Very nice place.”

“House is very cute and decorated with bluebirds throughout. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable. View of lake from front window is lovely although there is no access to the lake. The house is not located on the lake front; only a view of lake through neighbors yard. This surprised me as I thought house was on the lake. We drove around the lake to find the access to the water. Walking through neighbors yard to stand at waters edge is not an option and to be respected. Very cozy and clean.……

“Well maintained, clean room with no carpet. Standard breakfast with good coffee in lobby.”

“Room was clean and had stove, fridge, coffee pot etc. Restaurant on property and staff was very nice!”

“Bed was comfortable and clean, patio furniture clean, kitchen and bathroom clean, a full size blanket would have been helpful for cold evening we were there. I liked the sliding patio door for fresh air. Quiet neighborhood.”

“The property is a early 20th century house in the small downtown area of Scottsville, with easy access to Rochester, Henrietta, etc. The interior is wonderfully decorated including possibly early 19th century funiture, artwork, maps, etc. The layout is a dormitory-type of plan, with a shared kitchen, etc.”

“The Avon Inn is amazing. It was just like being home. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had dinner there and it was delicious.”

“Lake view was beautiful, especially at sunset. House and property were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Host kept in close contact with us i.e. check-in/checkout instructions, shortly after check-in follow-up and and then a few days later to make sure everything was still fine.”

“Great space to gather with friends!”

“Gorgeous, very clean”
