“Communication and check-in were seamless. The apartment was very clean. We were a little cold and Jason brought a space heater right away. Great location just on the edge of the village. A couple considerations for future visitors: Exterior photo on VRBO is not the actual location, it’s of a building on the scenic canal; the apartment is a very small studio with minimal room for luggage, and small kitchen. Perfect for one person or short stays. ”

“Lovely place to stay! The host was very helpful in providing all of the details for the stay, the house was clean, and it has a very cozy feel to it. I'd recommend staying here if you're coming to Rochester. The only issue was that there was a guy yelling at us from his car for no reason, but that's not a problem regarding the homeowner, it's just the area. ”

“The house is cute with nice details. The location is very good - near many things including University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital. The kitchen & downstairs bathrooms were clean. The living room had a nice TV and comfortable furniture. However, the house is not being maintained as it should be - on arrival there was a wet washcloth and an obviously dirty, stained towel in the upstairs bathroom. The shower curtain was hanging off the rod because there are not enough hooks to hold……

I will say that if you do have accessibility needs that this house would be a problem since the only bathroom is on the 2nd floor. It wasn't a huge problem for us, but others it might.
