"Nice hotel, quality of breakfast is very good. The jamon, lomo y queso are very good, so are most things. Service is a bit slow when you go for a drink at the bar in late afternoon. Location is great, overlooking the sea, and 3 min walk into town and beach. Good place for running and surfing!"

"This hotel is advertised as a beach front hotel, this is totally incorrect, and I have contacted Hotels.com to complain. All you can see are other properties and vegetation, absolutely no sign of a beach front!!!"

"I really liked this hotel for its uniqueness, location, stunning views, and great staff. You have to keep in mind that the building is very old, from something like the 1600’s , and there are nuisances to any old building versus a new structure. There are areas that could use some upgrades, simple things like pillows but that being said, the benefits of this gem are worth it."

"Beautiful hotel in the hills northeast of Bilbao. Easy to find, and as convenient as can be expected to drive in and out of the city for a few days. Unlike many places in Spain, good reliable air conditioning. Note that the “Family” room is just one room, so no privacy for anyone sleeping in either of the two beds. Hotel restaurant was good, not great, but good value."

"Stayed here during our trip walking the Camino del Norte. Conveniently located just under 2km out of town. Food was great & the staff were very friendly & most helpful. Would definitely recommend "
