Lovely Inn and Innkeeper. The room was clean and cozy. There was hot coffee and breakfast in the morning including homemade breads and fruit. We will be back!
We chose this B&B because it was in within walking distance to the Tanglewood concert area. The owner was lovely breakfast for each morning was excellent. Our room was a decent size with air conditioning.Breakfast we serve on a lovely large patio. My only complaint, and if it wasn’t for a big anniversary, we wouldn’t be able to afford the room as it was expensive. I believe it was over 300 a night. In any case, if you’re looking for a lovely B&B, this is a good one to choose.
This little inn sits in a lovely garden and is managed by a very warm and friendly owner. The porch is wonderful. The breakfast was perfect for our needs and our room was small but quaint and charming
10 minute walk from Tanglewood
Wonderful experience. Exactly what we were looking for; charming, cozy, close to everything, and a fabulous host! Dahlia gave us recommendations for dining, nature walks and so many local tidbits. Everything was great and then some!
Dalija goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The room and bathroom are immaculate. It's right down the street from Tanglewood which makes it very convenient too!
The cottage is homey and cozy, the gardens beautiful, breakfast is served by the Dalija, the gracious owner, attending to each guest's requests.
And you walk to Tanglewood!
Our first B&B in decades and it was an excellent option to staying in one of the many local motels. The home is wonderfully decorated, full of country antiques. The King Bed Suite is right off the kitchen and the sleeping was extremely comfortable. We had the home to ourselves, so it was perfectly quiet. Bathroom modern and excellent hot shower. We had a minor issue with powering up a CPAP machine, and the owner promptly showed up and it ended up being our fault using the wrong connecting wiring (computer wire instead of CPAP wire). She was readily available and brought over goodies for breakfast daily, including home made delicious muffins, fresh fruit salad etc. Usually she prepares hot breakfasts when home has more guests. We were her first guest of the season! I was singing at Tanglewood, and this inn is right next door. Also very accessible to Lenox by car and by walking. Would definitely return to Eastgate B&B. Highly recommend!
This is a very well kept and intimate property. The innkeeper, Dalija, does an incredible job of hosting, cooking and maintaining the place. There are only 6 rooms in the inn, so the interactions with Dalija and other guests are quite friendly and personal. Dalija is amazing and does everything herself including the beautiful landscaping. What we didn't expect and was a big surprise was her servicing the room daily, i.e. beds made, trash and towel service. That is hard to find today even in large upscale hotels. The walk to Tanglewood was a surprising easy 5 minute stroll to the closest gate. With past experiences of waiting 30-45 minutes to exit a James Taylor concert, we were out in a flash and relaxing in our room while most patrons were still waiting on a very long car line to get out. The inn is extremely comfortable and immaculately maintained. We had a queen room which appeared brand new, although it was not, with adequate furnishings, A/C and a fridge. The bed was very comfortable. There is an incredible amount of reading material in the room and in the common areas. She just took a piece of a huge wraparound porch and created a lovely 4 season porch attached to the lounge. There is so much seating between the lounge, the 4 season porch and covered porch. She has a large sitting area around a fire pit on the back lawn. Plenty of parking. She prepares a delicious, organic breakfast made to order. There is 24/7 coffee, tea, hot chocolate, win, soft drinks
I was warmly greeted by the owner who was a wealth of info both historical and current..ie what all was happening that weekend. She offered some items for breakfast, gave helpful instructions on use of appliances; encouraging me to make it my "home away from home" . Very neat & clean. The breakfast nook was a walk down memory lane , filled with fun items from the past. My stay provided the much needed getaway I so needed. I felt well "looked after".
The hostess was extremely kind and welcoming into the beautiful home. The seating space outside was impeccable, and it was the perfect place to stay while we were in the area for a wedding. The bed was comfy, the decor was cozy, and the water was as hot as you'd like it to be with a very large assortment of continental breakfast options.
The only possibly negative thing worth noting is that mobile service in the area was hard to come by, and the WiFi was not very speedy. The perfect cozy getaway.
We really enjoyed the Lenox area and this B&B was very convenient. I liked the room, very cozy and the bathroom was nice. She had very interesting antique decorations and a nice assortment of games. If our kids had come with us, they would have been fascinated with the place.
We really enjoyed our stay at Eastgate Inn B&B. The location is great and the host had really good recommendations of things to do in the area. The king size bedroom was spacious and clean and we enjoyed the porch as well. The home baked goods for breakfast were really good too. Note the wifi connection was not that good in the bedroom but worked in the common area.
