Being a bit picky - sealant around the shower was smudged on. One pillow was twice the size of the other on the double bed and no way suitable to sleep on. Needs a little TLC but appreciate it's hard with such an old building. Did not have breakfast so can't comment. "I like old hotels and this was for me. There were a few cobwebs in the room but apart from that I had no complaints. The bed and pillows were comfy and the shower was great. Staff were friendly. Only down side was no slip mat in the shower/bath"
"Burts is family run. Nick and staff make sure that everything is perfection. The food is exemplary and the quality of the linen for the bedrooms is first class. My room was on the second floor and was spacious. My only small gripe would be to replace the shower enclosure curtain with a glass screen. Otherwise, highly recommend this lovely hotel."
