“The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, the room was great, and we really enjoyed the spa facilities. There’s a lot to like about the hotel and it’s clear that the team are trying hard to provide a special experience.
That said, for the price of the stay, I felt it was missing just a little bit of the “wow factor” that would take it from a very good hotel to a truly exceptional one.
The main disappointment was dinner service. We weren’t offered drinks when we sat down, and our mains……
“Colin and Lisa were superb and friendly hosts and the stay was not only comfortable and clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The breakfasts were well prepared according to taste. We were delighted with our two nights' stay there and will hopefully return soon.”
