Can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Beautiful view from our room. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The complex is old and shows its age but it’s clean and quiet.

I've stayed at the sea gypsy in the past and didnt have an issue but the room I got put in this time was absolutely horrid. Bodily fluid stains everywhere, and on the sheets, an obvious unwashed duvet cover, and mold in the shower and windows. The lay out of the place was ugly, bright blue with just a hand full of decor items. It was such a disappointment to walk into after an 8 hour drive to get there. I will not be coming back.

Unbeatable location on the beach and next to the main highway for excellent access. Right next to a very good seafood restaurant. Property is a little dated but in good condition overall.

The views from the room were great! Room was comfortable and clean. There is a little inlet stream right outside on the beach which is great for littler kids! Warmer than the ocean and shallow enough for them to splash and play in. Great place for family vacation!

I felt like I was in an over priced motel 6. I can hear foot steps all round at night. The walls are very thin. Paint is chipping. There was food in the fridge from the previous people who stayed there. The dishes that were put away were dirty. It honestly felt like they just vacuum and made the bed. Even the shower had pink residue from what ever the previous people used. Almost $1000 for what?

Stayed in room 210 for 4 nights. Loved the view of the ocean and the separate bedroom and kitchen. Loved that it was right on the beach. Second set of stairs down to the beach was broken and had caution tape all around which made it difficult to get down to the beach. Room has no AC which made for very hot nights. Last night of stay was so hot my kids were drowning in sweat. Floors are a bit thin making it really easy to hear thumping footsteps above and below. Whoever stayed below us was incredibly rude. They called and complained about us during the whole stay. We received two warnings about noise during our stay. If you don't like children just being children don't stay at a hotel. Rooms may be individually owned, but its still set up just like a hotel. People below us even were hitting the ceiling obnoxiously. My children can't be children during non quiet hours. Ridiculous! Next time we'll stay somewhere else.

The property is nice..most units are good..big shrimp daddy needs work…every door creaks, I had to oil some just to be able to stand the noise…kitchen sliding door is old and keeps coming off the hinges, there’s too much furniture in there to be able to move around easily, the dining chairs are ripped…yeah, just needs some TLC

Our view was great but the room odor was so bad! Carpet is nasty and needs to be pulled up. Bathroom tub had a clog and filled with water. My friend found a few blood spots on the lamp. The pictures I saw when I booked is not the room we received when we checked in.

I would stay here again, it is an older building so walls are thin. They do need better cleaning people. Pots and pans were dirty, silverware and hold dirty. Throw rug in bathroom big stains on it, smelled when we walked in. We just opened the windows and sprayed with Lysol to let it air out. After that it was fine
