“Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. “Though GPS directed our car to the tourist coach parking lot at the back, the hotel is just beside the motorway service centre with several restaurants in it. As customer of the hotel, we can buy £10 worth of coupon at £7.5 and the coupon can be used at nearby restaurant. The family room is also spacious, though the nearby gas station charges comparatively higher than other gas station ”

We ate in the bar as the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, but there was a full menu and the food was enjoyable. There was a standard, perfectly nice breakfast offering. The leisure facilities were stand-out. There was a very warm pool (probably better suited to leisure rather than fitness swimming, particularly if busy) with a really nice steam room and sauna.
