We loved the location and the staff. The outside of the hotel is beautiful and is right on Main Street. There are lots of things to do, with many dining and drinking options.
Unfortunately, we didn't love the room. The dark maroon carpeting looked very dated, the bathroom had had a hole in the wall covered with spackle, the shower curtain was flimsy, the bathroom light and mirror looked like they came out of a mobile home, the tub was barely acceptable, the cheap bedroom furniture reminded me of the 1970's, there were no closets (just a metal contraption on the wall to hang stuff, and the wallpaper and wall "art" were simply awful. The window AC worked well, but one of the two remaining windows didn't latch and had no screen.
We wanted to love this place, but anyone with standards may want to look elsewhere.
