“We loved our stay at Heron's Hideaway. The house was immaculately clean. The host provided lots of accommodations - plenty of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, pool towels, etc. Kim was great to work with and responded to all of our communication immediately. The house is a perfect spot to camp out and relax. We visited a couple small beaches within an hour of the house, and Williamsburg but could easily see staying at the house the whole time between the pool, dock, and kayaks. ”

“Pictures and description don’t do the views enough justice. Having the Bay in front and the pond/inlet behind you allowed you access to whatever kind of water day you wanted. Neighbors were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking out back, and the multitude of searing options/fire pits to enjoy the view. Would love to stay again!”

“This is a lovely property! The screened porch is the cherry on top! The house was SPOTLESS & Kim made sure that we had absolutely everything we could have needed! The neighborhood is quiet, the town of Gloucester is close by & friendly. We stayed in most of the time & took advantage of the well organized& stocked kitchen. “We had an amazing time on the river! We had planned on going out to explore but it was so relaxing and inviting in the home we didn't want to leave. We ending up getting groceries nearby and eating in.The views and river were excellent. I did quite a bit of fishing and if crabbing is your thing they are abundant off of the pier.
