“It's not the Ritz Csrlton, but it's clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and inexpensive. It was a safe place for me and quiet. They had a little problem with my check out. They thought it was one day earlier but I went to the office and they assured me it's was their mistake. They were very good about it and apologized. Overall I only stayed there to sleep and enjoyed my time there 😊 😃 😀”

“The property was amazing, so many different kinds of plants and flowers. Very well kept. The house inside was charming and really felt like you were in your own home with all the amenities. Especially the kitchen. The house is situated on a very quiet street with many dog owners. Met a lot of nice neighbors. Will definitely be returning. ”

“I booked this property for a birthday getaway. In decades of travel, I have never experienced anything like this. The house is in serious disrepair — broken and unstable columns, railings not secured to posts, trip hazards, visible mold, a filthy coffee maker, and a moldy shower. This property did not feel safe. We arrived at the agreed check-in time to find the owners still cleaning. They asked us to wait outside for an hour which ended up being 2 hours on a 90+ degree day with no water or...

“We absolutely loved our peaceful stay here. This house had so much character and was so cozy for our Chesapeake Bay vacation ! There is a small town close by (7 minute drive) with amazing food options. The beach is a two minute drive from the home. Very relaxing stay , host was very responsive. Linens were fresh and house had EVERYTHING you needed. Very accommodating stay - thank you!”

“The Blue House was a perfect spot for my week long visit to the area. The location was quiet, safe, and friendly. I had nice conversations with community members and small business owners during my stay. The house is within walking distance to many restaurants. The kitchen is small but sufficient for meal preparation when desired. The yard is nice and there are outdoor seating areas on three sides of the house.I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.”

“The only positive about this place in my opinion, is its location. The view looking AWAY from the house are wonderful. The house and property are old, dilapidated and not at all maintained. I did not expect it to be a perfect venue, but the photos posted by the property owner DO NOT represent the conditions in and around the house. Not only is in poor repair, it is not kept clean either. There was no trash can or trash bags inside. The trash can on the porch was full of garbage when we arrived....

“Wonderful water view, go to sleep with the sound of the waves. Great full kitchen and ask host about catering with Chef Brenda! Get a real break from stress and cooking. Great balcony with direct stair access to the water and lots of fun things to do. Best donut shop 15 minutes away in downtown White Stone, Chesapeake donuts is great. Beautiful property and easy parking.”
