"Second time staying at this house. The whole family enjoyed our stay there. Nice central location in the NNK and Middle Peninsula. We were able to kayak at Bell Isle Park, put put golf in Urbanna, visit Reedville, and of course eat a ton of local crabs and produce."

"Definitely an old house and with that you have to expect some older house issues. It’s a well decorated home and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the shower good. The living room seating was not comfortable. One beautiful looking leather chair was broken and the couch was hard on your back. The sticking entry door could also be fixed. Not easy to open and very noisy. It would not be difficult to repair. A few suggestions would be to declutter the kitchen and leave some soap for the clothes washer. These are small things that would help elevate my rating to 5. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt a few changes requiring little effort would make it perfect."

"I must admit, I thought the "million dollar view" was hype. It is not. The scenery from the back deck is AMAZING...a wide expanse of peaceful waters as you look out over Godfrey Bay and the Piankatank River is breathtaking. As a rule, we typically try not to visit properties that we've rented before, but this experience has my wife saying "Do you think we could come back this Fall?"There are more than enough activities offered at the property to keep you busy, and plenty of relaxing spaces indoors and out if you'd rather just chill. We spent an afternoon on the beach with our toes in the water, and it was about as peaceful and serene as you could get. We ate dinner down on Gwynn's Island at Hole In The Wall and had a very nice meal overlooking the water from their upper deck. I also have to give a shout-out to Robert, who was very available and responded promptly when we had a question about one of the amenities. Everything worked out perfectly with his assistance and helped us enjoy our stay.I think it's pretty safe to say that we'll be back! Thank you again for a wonderful getaway."

"Wonderful property to relax in and enjoy the water! Hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. Especially enjoyed the kayaks and the hot tub. The views are amazing and the wrap around deck was perfect. Loved having our own private beach and dock. Would definitely recommend!"

"Reedville has been my childhood vacation spot since before I could walk. We own a small lot on Parker that is no longer livable. Reedville/Chesapeake holds a piece of my heart. I was able to bring to my daughter down and she has fallen in love as well. I haven’t stayed since my dad and papa passed so this trip did my heart some good. My daughter and I went for walks, spent hours and hours on the private beach and the community beach. The house is cute as could be! I havent had a vacation in 3 years and im so glad this is the trip we took. We will be back, and I plan to stay while we take down the old shack and hopefully someday I can call our place on Parker home. Until next time "
