“This cabin is in the community of cabins of the old “Pinewood Cabins”. Trying to book with pinewood was impossible and stressful so by luck I found “The Old Home Place” on VRBO. Booking was a breeze and I would book again with this host. It is a beautiful and well equipped cabin and is in walking distance of downtown, although it is on the lower side of the hill so you would be walking uphill for a bit to get to the main st. It has uphill concrete steps to get up to the porch, so keep that in……

“The “Nook” was a great location for walking to all events and shopping in Mountain View. It was very clean and I would have given it a 4.8 if I could. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star review is due to the bathroom sink not draining properly and it is a bit pricey. But, all in all, a great place.”

“Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest.
